WELCOME

G Dobos Studio is a fine art studio located within the Mission Arts Building upstairs from Gallery 9, which is located in the Haymarket area of Lincoln, Nebraska. I opened the studio in 2017 primarily as a working and private exhibition space. More recently, the exhibitions in the studio have also featured select local emerging artists.

RECENT ACTIVITIES

In 2018, the first community workshops, for the LiFETiME (Liminality in Flux Experience Transitioning in Motion Eternally) performance, were held in this studio. The culmination was a collaborative installation piece celebrated with music and dance, in October 2018 at the Sheldon Museum of Art

MISSION

As owner, my mission is to provide studio visitors with gracious hospitality, to uplift the community by exhibiting beautiful and thought provoking art, and to further provide visitors with opportunities to participate in the creative spark known as inspiration

Thursdays and Fridays 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m and.on First Fridays of each month from 6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. CT.
Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays

DIRECTIONS

From the Lincoln Airport, head northwest on W Adams St, turn right onto NW 12th St., and continue onto W Cornhusker Hwy. Turn right onto the US-34 E/I180 S ramp to Downtown, merge onto I-180 SUS-34 and continue on to 124 N 9th St. (building is on the left)
